Mr. Russell Cameron DeMonbreun, I, age 86, of Fayetteville, GA passed away on June 6, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. DeMonbreun was born October 22, 1934 in Nashville, Tennessee. His parents, William Andrew DeMonbreun and Etheda Ann DeMonbreun, son, Russell Cameron DeMonbreun, II and sister, Ann Charlton all preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and United States Marines. Mr. DeMonbreun was graduate of University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering and was retired from the Georgia Power Company. Mr. DeMonbreun was a member of Griffin First Assembly, the primetimers, and the Marine Corp League.
Survivors include, his wife, Charlene DeMonbreun; son, Russell Cameron DeMonbreun, III and wife, Jennifer; daughter, Nancy Moore and husband, Eddy; Grandchildren, Matthew Moore and wife, Kerrigan, Noah Moore, Levi Moore; brother, William Andrew “Bill” DeMonbreun; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Followed by a funeral service in the chapel. Pastor George Jacobs will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with military honors.
