Sadie Key Parker

Sadie Key Parker, age 93 of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018.

Sadie was born in Adairsville, Georgia on January 5, 1925. She is preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Howell Key and Vestia Everette Key; daughter, Vickie McCullars; brother, Harold Key; sister, Rosa Ratley. Sadie was a co-owner of RU-SA Restaurant, she catered weddings, loved cooking and gardening. She was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church.

Sadie is survived by her husband, Clyde Parker; daughter, Paula and husband Dr. Elvin Hardy; son, Len Parker and wife Ginger; son-in-law, Don McCullars; grandchildren, Sheree McCurry, Lori Kinney, Anthony Hardy, Heather Dix and husband David, Jennifer Marchant and husband Keith, Lindsay Parker, Luke Parker and wife Lyndsey, Eric Parker and wife Christin; 14 great-grandchildren; niece, Joelynn Neighbors.

A visitation for Sadie Key Parker will be Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury. Reverend John M. Roberts will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
