Sara Dingler Burke

Mrs. Sara Dingler Burke, 87 of Griffin, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Hope Memory Care in Fayetteville.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Dingler and Clara Hunnicutt Carns, husband, Robert Burke; son, Robbie Burke. Sara was a 1953 graduate of Griffin High School and a majorette for Griffin High. She had a Civil Service career for over 35 years and retired from Fort McPherson Before declining health, Sara was active at the Griffin Moose Club with the Women of the Moose. 
She is survived by her children, Penny King Coons (Bob), Tim (Donna) Burke, Lisa Burke Jones; grandchildren, Corey King, Casey King, Katie (Chris) Couch, Joanna Burke (Eric Boren ), Michael Burke, Lindsey Jones, Evan Jones, Miranda Burke, Ian Burke, Benjamin Burke; great grandchild, Thomas King; sister, Mary Reeves Brown; daughter in law, Dawn Burke; former son in law, Danny King; several nieces and nephews and cousins.
A visitation will be on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
