Jackie S. Stevens

Sara Jacqueline “Jackie” Stevens age 95 of Williamson, Georgia passed away on July 17, 2021.

Jackie was born December 20, 1925. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy H. Swatts and Sarah Whatley Swatts; husbands, Reverend James Burleson and Edgar A. Stevens; daughter, Dottie Chandler Whatley; siblings, Roy Homer Swatts, Jr., Elizabeth Louise Swatts Parish and Tillman Swatts. Jackie was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed shopping and meeting new people. Jackie was also a member of Providence First Baptist Church of Williamson, GA.

She is survived by her daughter, Sara (Arvel) Buck; grandchildren, Beth Buck (Russ) O’Neal, Ray (Erin) Buck, Pam Chandler (Scott) Cotter, Kathy Chandler Brown; great-grandchildren, Blakely Buck, John Buck, Carmon Buck, Piper Buck, Annika James, Natalya James, Caleb O’Neal, Christian (Tessa) Brown, Caitlin Brown, Garrett Cotter and Rachel Cotter; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Frances Swatts Burns; several nieces, nephews and extended family.


A visitation for Jackie Stevens will be Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Conner-Westbury Funeral home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Dennis Elliott will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Barnesville, GA.
