Sarah Ann Pyron

Mrs. Sarah K. Pyron, age 79 of Decatur, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

Mrs. Pyron was born on March 15, 1941 in Rover, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her mother, Annie Clay Holmes; sisters, Mary Helen Johnson and Martha Ann McGhee.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Zachary Percy and wife (Rosie), Gina Ham and husband (Levi), Alicia Turnipseed, Freddy Piercy, Charles McGhee, Jr. ; great nieces and nephews, Zachary Jr. and Shannon Piercy, Angela and Jaban Gordon, Nathaniel “Champ” Newton II, Clifton Henley, Terry Lee Turnipseed II, Terrell Turnipseed, Sedderic Piercy, Tia’,vana Piercy, Shamika Piercy, Shantell McGhee, and a host of great great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church. A funeral service follow in the sanctuary. Pastor Gerod Duff will officiate. Interment will follow at Griffin Memorial Gardens.
