Mrs. Sarah E. Self, age 95, of Griffin, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Eternal Hope Hospice.

Mrs. Self was born in Union Point, Georgia April 1, 1922. She is preceded in death by her parents, George Washington Sorrow and Effie Estelle Chapman Sorrow, her husband, Farrell Self; her sons, James E. Willis, Jerry Willis and Kenneth L. Willis. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughter, Linda Kaye Jones, Ronald M. Willis; stepchildren, Roger Self, Kenneth Self, Nathan Self, and Teresa Dukes; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The visitation for Mrs. Sarah self will be Friday, December 29, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be in the chapel. Pastor Thomas Hill will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens.
