Scott Chamblee

Mr. Vernon Scott Chamblee age 55 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020.
Scott was born in Orlando, Florida on October 13, 1964. He is preceded in death by, brother, Skip Chamblee, grandparents, E.V. (Duck) and Louise Stewart and O. G. and Vera Chamblee. He was a very faithful member of Christ Chapel. Scott is a 1982 graduate of Griffin High School and attended Gordon State College. He served in the Georgia Air National Guard and Georgia Army National Guard.
Survivors include wife, Glenda Chamblee; daughter MaryScott Jones and husband, Hunter; step daughter, Allison Rogers and husband, Adam; grandchildren, Jackson, Crystal and Harper; step grandchildren, Beau and Bennett; parents, Wanda and Bill Thielemann; brother, Thomas Thielemann and Lynda Lea; sister, Lynn Jennings and husband, Jarrett; nephews, Jack, Will and Auguste; fur babies Dakota and Bristol; and several aunts and uncles. 

Visitation will be Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 12:30 until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Followed by a memorial service in the chapel of Conner-Westbury. Pastor Billy Smith will officiate.
