Shareka Janeva Jones

Shareka Janeva Jones, age 38, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022.

Shareka is preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Mae Craver (Jones); grandmothers, Georgia Anna Green (Craver), Lizzybell Jones; grandfathers, Willie Craver, Chester Jones Sr.; aunt, Betty J. Hill; two uncles, Walter Craver, and Albert Jones.

Shareka loved people and was very outgoing. She accepted Christ at the early age of 7. She especially loved children and had a passion for the elderly.

Shareka is survived by her sisters, Janice Reid (Cedrick), Felicia Wallace (Walt); one brother, Robert Jones, Jr. (Helen); father, Robert Lee Jones, Sr.; godmother, Jennie Watkins (Felix); a special little guy, Elmo, whom she loved like her own; a close nephew, Tae who she wanted near at all times; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; we can’t list them all, but they are just as important. A special thanks to Kamilah Collier, a close cousin, and gratitude to Desirnika Morgan for all her help.

Visitation will be Friday, June 3, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A graveside service will be on Saturday, June 4, 2022, 11:00 am at Griffin Memorial Gardens.
