Mrs. Shirley Ruth Johns Parton, age 77 of Locust Grove, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019.

Mrs. Parton was born in in Atlanta, Georgia on November 2, 1941. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward Johns and Ruth Davidson Johns; her husband, Jasper Neal Parton; son, Neal Parton. She formerly worked at Walmart.

Survivors include her children, Tammie Dibe, Robert Parton, Teresa Mundy and husband Lucky; grandchildren, Josh Parton, Robert Parton, Amanda Anderson, Allen Crane, Gary Crane, Miranda Faggutt; great-grandchildren, Brandon Zellars, Takia Zellars, nieces, Lawanda (Fat Cat) Owens, Brenda Campbell; nephew, Ronnie Towerly.

A visitation will be Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Monday, September 30, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury. Reverend Ray McBerry will officiate. Interment will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, 3043 High Falls Rd, Jackson, Georgia.
