Shirley Farr Presley

Mrs. Shirley Farr Presley, age 84, passed away on August 3, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Presley was born in Tyrone, Georgia on February 5, 1935. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Farr and Mary Jones Farr; husband, Kenneth E. Presley; siblings, Julia, Henry, Doug, FM, Betty and Ed; nephew, Jay Jernigan. Mrs. Presley assisted her husband with Presley and Associates for many years. She was devoted to First Baptist Church in Griffin where she attended Sunday School and was on the library and benevolence committees.

Survivors include Tresa Presley Haywood; nieces, Becky Jernigan (Ernest), Julie White (David) and Starke Jernigan; nephews, Chuck Brown (Patti) Phil Brown (Jenny); grandchildren, Andrew Martin (Brittany) and Alex Martin; great-grandchild, Emmett Martin; several extended family and friends; her pet companion, NumNum.

Visitation for Shirley Farr Presley will be on Monday, August 5, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Gardens in Tyrone, Georgia.
