Stevie “Steve” Darrell Wright, Sr. age 67, of Milner, GA passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021.
Steve was born in Akins, South Carolina to his parents, James and Gladys Wright, who preceded him in death. He was the youngest of his brothers, James L. Wright, Jr. and Larry Wright.
He is held dearly in memory as brilliant in his trade, a faithful friend to many, and above all else, a Godly husband, father, and grandfather that led a life of integrity and example.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Beverly Wright, and their children, Stephanie McGreevy (Tom) and Stevie D. Wright, Jr. (Ashley), and his grandchildren, Blake Yancey (Haley), Courtney Yancey, Addison Wright, and Maddox Wright, as well as his first great-grandson, Karter Yancey. His second great-grandchild is expected next month. Finally, he was affectionately “Uncle Steve” to several nieces and nephews.
The family invites you to join in honoring his life this Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Harp’s Crossing Baptist Church. Visitation will be held there from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm, following a funeral service at 6:30 PM.
