Susan Jane Brooks

Mrs. Susan Jane Brooks, age 66 of Griffin, GA, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Emory University Hospital.

Susan was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 18, 1953. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Anclien and Mae Gray Anclien. Susan graduated from Tucker High School. After high school, she worked in the insurance industry. Susan was a dedicated member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. She loved going to Sunday school and crocheting. When Susan became ill she even made time to help others by making hats for cancer patients.

Survivors include her husband, Tony Brooks; brother and sister, Robert Anclien and wife Pam, Patricia Davis and husband Gene; nieces and nephew, Kristen Jones and husband Sean, Barry Davis and wife Susan, Amy Brennan and husband Blair. Several grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation will be Sunday December 15, 2019 from 2:30 until 3:30 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 3:30 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend John Nance and Reverend Neal Edwards will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, https://donate.lls.org/lls/donate.
