Susie F. Cox , age 95 of Hampton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Riverdale, GA.

She is preceded in death by her parents John Wayne Floyd and Jesse Betsill Floyd; grandson Jim Watson and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughters Gail and her husband Jimmy Watson of Riverdale, Jane and her husband Johnny Brown of Fayetteville; son David and his wife Gail Cox of Lancaster, SC,; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; sister Cleo Stamey of Smyrna; brothers Leroy and his wife Carol Floyd of Hampton and Argin Floyd of Sunnyside.

Visitation for Susie F. Cox will be on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. She will also lie in state on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 10:00 am until the time of service of 11:00 am at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, 2957 Mt. Carmel Road, Hampton, GA. Rev. Argin Floyd and Rev. Steve Foster will officiate. Internment will follow in the church cemetery.
