Sydney Dixon Owens

Mrs. Sydney Dixon Owens, age 74 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Brightmoor Hospice.
Mrs. Owens was born January 12, 1946 in Newark, New Jersey. She is preceded in death by parents, George R. Dixon and Helen Snyder Dixon. She was a 1964 graduate of Griffin High School, and was retired from Griffin Area Resource Center. She was of the Episcopal faith.
She is survived by husband, Phil W. Owens; son and daughter-in-law, Donivan M. and Greta Aaron and children, Chloe V., Jonah D., Peter S., and Lee M. Aaron all of McDonough, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Wesley S. and Robin Aaron and children, Owen, and Claire Aaron all of Oviedo, Florida; step daughter and her husband, Holly Owens Challen and husband Ricky, and children Landon Challen and Jett Challen; brother and sister-in-law, George R. Dixon, Jr and Connie Iseman of Fernpark, Florida; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 10:00 AM in Oak Hill Cemetery.Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 W. McIntosh Rd, Griffin is in charge of arrangements.
