Sylvia Earline Higginbotham

Sylvia “Earline” Higginbotham, age 78, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.

Earline was born on July 19, 1943. Her parents, Earl Defriece, Jr. and Vivian Christine Stidham Defriece; husband, Michael E. Higginbotham Sr.; granddaughter, Cassey; brothers, Jimmy, Marty, Wayne and Jay, preceded her in death. Earline loved cooking and getting together with family and friends. She also enjoyed crocheting and crafts.

Survivors include her children, Michael Higginbotham, Jr. and wife, Jill, Cynthia Potter and husband, Scott and Derick Higginbotham; grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, Steven, Melanie, Hannah, Hayley, Hunter, Mathew, Jeremy and Christina; great-grandchildren, Audrey and Jay Jay; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service for Sylvia “Earline” Higginbotham will be held at a later date by the family.
