Thelma June Bethune

Thelma June Bethune, age 77 of Griffin passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Renaissance Care and Rehabilitation Center, Griffin, GA.
 
Mrs. Bethune was born in Molena, Georgia on June 19, 1940. Mrs. Bethune was preceded in death by her husband James Bethune; parents Emmett L. Stribling and Ruby Gibson Stribling; eight sisters and two brothers. She retired as an inspector with All Star Knitwear and was also a member of the New Beginnings Christian Church.
 
She is survived by her son, James (Tammy) Bethune of Concord; daughters, Connie (William) Brewer of Griffin and Pam (Kevin) Myers of Griffin; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanore Adams of Columbus, SC; brother-in-law, Wyatt Nixon and several nieces and nephews.
 
A visitation For Mrs. Bethune will be on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Tracy Lewis will officiate. Internment will follow at Westwood Gardens, Griffin.
