Theresa Pickett

Mrs. Theresa Wofford Pickett, age 72, of Griffin passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020.
 
Mrs. Pickett was born March 5, 1948 in Griffin, Georgia. Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas Wofford and Lena Bell, and sister, Rebecca Jewel. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She adored her grandchildren and cared greatly for her pets. Theresa believed Jesus Christ was her savior. Theresa loved arts and crafts, needlepoint, shopping, dancing, gardening, and took pride in being a good homemaker.
 
Survivors include her husband Thomas Pickett; son, Michael and his wife Christie; daughter, Jennifer and her husband, Bert; grandchildren, Ethan Pickett, Ashton Pickett, Aiden Pickett, Taylor Flewellen, Emily Flewellen, and Sydney Flewellen; sister, Tammy Franks and her husband, Howard; brother, JT Wofford, Jr.; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
 
A visitation will be Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Oak Hill Cemetery, 797 Memorial Drive, Griffin, GA 30223. Followed by a graveside service. Pastor Mark James will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations are made to the charity of your choice in honor of Theresa.
