Thomas M. “Sonny” Perry, age 80 of Hampton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Perry was born in Montgomery County, Tennessee on April 3, 1937. He is preceded in death by his parents Slayton and Mary Proctor Perry; brothers John and Pete Perry; sisters Mary Ann Perry and Virginia Duke. Mr. Perry was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church of Hampton; Mason Lodge #70, and enjoyed fishing and Nascar Racing. Mr. Perry retired from Ford Motor Company with 30 years of service and also drove a school bus for 12 years with Clayton County Special Education.

Survivors include his wife June Perry; children Tommy Perry, Michael (Janea) Perry, Melissa Perry, Eva Perry, Karen (William) Hall; Step-Children Evette (David) Thomas,
Michelle (Johnny) Nelson and Keena Long; Brothers Horace Perry and Buford Perry; sister Ethel (Jason) Krantz; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Thomas M. “Sonny” Perry will be Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation there will be a funeral service at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Chuck Conkle and Reverend Mike Henderson will officiate. Interment will be at Camp Memorial Park Cemetery, Fayetteville, Georgia.
