Tommie C. Neal

Mrs. Tommie C. Neal, age 85 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Sacred Journey.
Mrs. Neal was born in Pulaski County, Georgia on August 5, 1935. Her parents, Thomas and Hettie Lee Cummings, sons, Jimmy Lee Eaton, William Perry Neal, Jr, husband, Robert Haney, sisters, Evelyn Crooms, Vivian Hawke all preceded her in death. She was one of the founding member of St. John Lutheran Church, and more recently attended St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Forest Park, Georgia, and was retired from the Department of Labor. Mrs. Neal was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother who was very strong in her faith and very independent.
Survivors include son Gregory B. Neal, Sr. and his wife, Evon; daughter, Tonya Cunningham and her husband, Steve; grandchildren, Brandy Frady, Gregory Bryce Neal, Jr and wife, Crystal, Bill Neal and wife, Lisa, Crystal Richardson and husband, D.J., Samantha Oliver and husband, Ken; 19 great grandchildren, brother, Verlyn Thomas Cummings; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 12:30pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Followed by a funeral service in the chapel. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
