Tonya Mercer Gilbert, age 59 of Hampton passed away Friday, November 9, 2018.

Tonya was born on August 5, 1959. She is preceded in death by parents, Ronald Mercer and June Lanier Mercer. Tonya was a member of American Legion and loved to bless others in their time of need.

Survivors include her husband, James Gilbert; daughter, Cassandra Goulden; grandchildren, Dantravious Taylor and Ty’Asia Trammell; cousin, Allyson Brown; second cousins, Ansley Brown, Caroline Brown and Caleb Brown.

A celebration of life for Tonya Gilbert will be Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 6:00 pm at American Legion Post 258 in Jonesboro, Georgia
