Virginia Inez Stone

Mrs. Inez Wages Stone, age 86 of Hampton, passed away at her residence on Monday, May 6, 2019.

Inez was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia on July 21, 1932. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clint Wages and Nora Sue Knight Wages; husband, Howard Joseph Stone; sister, Chris Mize. She was retired as a secretary for Woodward Academy, she loved her friends and spending time with family.

She is survived by her children, Howard Gerald Stone and Cynthia, Linda Bridges, Kenneth J. Stone and Sherrie; grandchildren, Gerry and Tracy Stone, Joey Stone, Brandon Stone, Ken and Katie Stone, Keith and Leah Stone, Kurtis and Jennifer Bridges, Steven and Jessica Stone, Phillip and Michelle Stone, Joshua Stone; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Thomas Wages.

A visitation for Inez Wages Stone will be on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park, 6841 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236.
