Vivian Land

Mrs. Vivian Leigh Land, age 79 of Hampton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020.

Mrs. Land was born in Fayetteville, Georgia on December 15, 1940. She is preceded in death by her husband James R. Land, Sr., parents James and Curtis Hyatt; son Doug Land; sister Birdie, brothers Joe, Murray, Bob, Bill and Junior.

She is survived by her son James “Jimmy” R. Land and his wife Betsy; granddaughters Mandy Doss and her husband Derek, Shae Gallant and her husband John Gallant, Jr and Krystle Land; great-grandchildren Evan Doss, Natalie Gallant and Dominik Smith. Mrs. Land is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Land’s request was to be cremated and internment of her ashes will be private at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia. A celebration of life will be conducted at the Sunnyside United Methodist Church Fellowship hall Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 2pm.
