W. A. Pierce

Mr. W.A. (Georgia Music Maker) Pierce, age 79 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Monday, May 18, 2020.
W. A. was born in Gainesville, Georgia on April 23, 1941. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pratt Pierce and Myrtle B. Royal. He was former member of Georgia National Guard for 17 years and was retired from Spring Industries.
Survivors include his wife, Dot Pierce, children, Tina Jackson, David Pierce and Chris Pierce; brother, Ralph Pierce and Richard pierce; sister, Sandy Crawley; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

W.A. will be taken to his residence on Thursday at 9:00 am for a visitation and funeral service will be held. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens at 1:15 pm. Pastor Steve Newman will officiate.
