Mrs. Waltraud Basler Bromley, age 85 of Griffin, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019.
Mrs. Bromley was born on July 6, 1934 in Neustadt, Germany. She is preceded in death by her parents, Franz Joseph Basler and Anna Benkler Basler; her husband, Eugene Merlin Bromley; sisters, Gusti Basler, Anneliese Laudouar, Klara Basler and Elfriede Jennewein. Mrs. Bromley was a Homemaker, she loved gardening, cooking, baking and fishing; she attended Plainview Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, John Bromley and wife Joyce, Mike Bromley and wife Brenda; daughter, Janice Padgett; grandchildren, Christina Combs, Melissa Bromley, Tracy Bromley, Amy Clark and Brian, John Stein and Tye; great-grandchildren, Emily Van Eps, Andrew Combs, Nevaeh Summerlin, Tristan Bromley, Courtney Stein, Chelsei Stein, Preston Stein, Austin Stein, Chase Stein, Carma Stein; niece, Monika Magwood; several other nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury. Pastor Buster Dockins will officiate. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro, Georgia.
