William Randall Burks

William Randall (Randy) Burks, age 48 of Williamson, passed away July 9, 2019 in a workplace accident.

Randy was born on January 26, 1971 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the fourth child of 6 children. He is preceded in death by his infant brother, Andrew Burks and sister, Cheryl Parish. Randy was a 1989 graduate of Pike County High School. He worked in heating and air for many years before he became a “handy-man”, who could and would tackle many odd jobs for those who needed him. He was a skilled and hard-working man.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Dunn Cowan and step-father, Kenneth Cowan; father, Charles Gerald Burks and step-mother, Ann Burks; sister, Carol Barrett and husband Scott; his twin sister, Rebecca Blalock and husband Wade; brother, David Robertson and partner Stephen; step-brother, Russ Cowan; step-sister, Melissa Brown and husband Rich; nieces and nephews, Bryan and Trish Parish, Mikel Parish, Drew Barrett, Hannah Barrett, Katie and Devan Taylor, Tucker Blount, Logan Blount, Jillian and Carter Lewis, Troy and MaryKate Blalock, Rebecca Cowan, Rachel Cowan, CJ Vasquez, Abby Vasquez, Courtney Brown; great niece, Peyton Parish; great nephews, Winston Taylor, Oliver Taylor.

A memorial service will be held by the family.
