Mrs. Wilma Anne Heitzmann Hollberg, age 75 of Griffin, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019.
 
Mrs. Hollberg was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on June 11, 1944. She is preceded in death by her father, Frank T. Heitzmann; sister, Gloria H. Morris. She held a Bachelor’s degree in Bible Education from Columbia Bible College, where she was active in Freshman Chorus, Ambassador Choir and Senior Trio.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Griffin.   At various times she taught Sunday school, Vacation Bible School and sang in the Sanctuary Choir.
 
She was active in the family real estate business.  She was an active woman who enjoyed snow skiing, scuba diving, offshore fishing and boating, and was team mother for many youth sports teams.
 
Survivors include; her husband M. Douglas Hollberg, Jr.; sons and daughters in law, Douglas S. and Pamela Hollberg (Griffin, GA), David and Adrianela Cabrera Hollberg (Burke, VA); grandchildren, John Marsh Hollberg, Lucinda Claire Hollberg, Briana Grace Hollberg, Daniel Alan Hollberg; her mother, Wilhelmina Weber Heitzmann; siblings and their spouses, John and Sherri Heitzmann, Donna and Steve Doutrich, Richard and Valerie Heitzmann, Dr. Kevin Morris; several nieces and nephews.
 
A memorial service will be Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Griffin. Dr. Bill Hardee will officiate. The family will receive visitors following the service in the Family Life Building. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Piedmont Cancer Foundation: 2001 Peachtree Rd., NE, Suite 400, Atlanta, Georgia 30309
(Pledge envelopes will be available at the service) or First Baptist Church of Griffin, Scouting Fund: PO Box 908, Griffin, Georgia 30224.
