Yvonne J. Morris

Mrs. Yvonne Jolley Morris, age 90, of Griffin passed away, Tuesday, October 6, 2020.
 
Mrs. Morris was born in Dekalb County, Alabama on April 20, 1930. Her parents, Benjamin T. and Clara Mae Lowery Jolley, husband Fred Richard Morris, stepson, Fred Richard Morris, Jr and siblings, Leslie Carl Jolley, Aubrey Lee Jolley and Malcom Jolley all preceded her in death. Mrs. Morris was retired from Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga as a dietician, was a member of Griffin First Baptist Church, where she was active in the XYZ group, Magna Sunday School Class.
 
She is survived by her daughter Janet Christie and husband Hugh; stepdaughter-in-law Cathy Morris; stepgrandchildren David Morris and Brian Morris; stepgranddaughter Lyndsey Latimer Christie; and two nieces Michelle Wilburn and Oeida Roper and two nephews Darryl Jolley and Leslie Jolley.
 
Visitation for Yvonne J. Morris will be Friday, October 9, 2020 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following will be a funeral service in the chapel. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Reverend Steven Norris will officiate.
