Christopher David Reynolds age 53 of Griffin, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at his residence after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Christopher was born in Columbus, Georgia on November 9, 1964. He had worked as a police officer with Lagrange Police Department, Peachtree City Police Department, and was retired from the Griffin Police Department. He was a member of Griffin First Assembly of God, was an avid deer hunter, loved looking for treasures with his metal detector, and was an avid baseball card collector.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Beasley Reynolds; son, Christopher Reynolds; daughters, Alexis Reynolds, Ceceli Newton, Megan King and son in law Josh; son, Jacob Beasley; Mother and stepfather Glenda and Bubba Fizer; Father, Robert Reynolds; granddaughter, Vina Evelyn Beasley; sister, Michelle Ezell; sister and brother in law, Cindi and Lester Ezell; brothers and sisters in law, Robert and Sonja Reynolds, Ross and Anna Beasley, Jamie and Cristal Beasley; father and mother in law, James and Debra Beasley; special little buddy, Jasper Liam Knight; many nieces and nephews that Chris loved dearly.

A visitation for Christopher Reynolds will be on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Freedom House, P.O. Box 483 Experiment, Georgia 30212, and a special organization to the Reynolds family offered by the Freedom House.
