Mr. Edward L. Jones, age 90, passed away at his residence on Wednesday March 29, 2017.
He was born in Spalding County, Georgia on October 20, 1926. He served in World War II and was stationed in Pearl Harbor. He retired from Bellsouth and was a member of Second Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors, working on projects and enjoyed breakfast with his friends.
He is survived by, his loving wife of 61 years, Dorothy Jones; sons, Robbie Jones, Barry Jones and wife Wendy, and Andy Jones and wife Teresa; grandchildren, Nick, Jennifer, Ashley, BJ, Laci and Amelia; great grandchildren Abby, Avery and Haleigh.
Visitation; Friday, March 31, 2017 from 11:30 to 1:30 at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at Westwood Gardens.
