Mrs. Elaine Cox Greene, age 80 of Griffin, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Eternal Hope Hospice.

Mrs. Greene was a lifelong resident of Griffin, born March 9, 1937. She is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Lillian Manley Cox, her husband James Troy Greene. Mrs. Greene was a member of Church of the Crossing and was had retired from Commercial Bank.

Survivors include, son, Robin Greene and wife, Christine; daughter, Shanda Greene Wheeler and husband, Todd; grandchildren, Jamie Greene and wife Wendy, Teri Montgomery and husband Mark, Case Wheeler; great grandchildren, Madeline, Haley, Luke, Grant, John Wesley; brother, Ronnie Cox and wife Peggy; sister, Nancy Fox; brother-in-law, Guy Greene; caregiver, Shirley Dixson; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Pastor Ron Brooks and Pastor Winfred Dixson will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Family Cemetery.
