Mrs. Elsie Louise Ellison, age 71, of Hampton, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Newnan, GA.


Mrs. Ellison was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 25, 1945. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Lee Vanpelt and Dorothy White; grandson, Dustin Ellison. She was retired from High Brand Foods in the meat department. Mrs. Ellison was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time outdoors fishing and yard selling.

She is survived by husband, Marvin Ellison; sons, Lee Ellison, Jr, David Ellison and wife, Maxine and Timmy Ellison and wife, Cindy; grandchildren, Dave Ellison, Melissa Leblond, Renae Bowlden, Katelyn Ellison and Rebecca Ellison; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Ellison, Waylon Ellison, Olivia Leblond, and Lacey; sisters, Dixie Ellison and Ruth Ellison.


Visitation for Mrs. Elsie L. Ellison will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Panhandle Baptist Church. Pastor Chris Magnes will officiate. Interment will follow at Banks Cemetery in Fayetteville, GA.
