Glenn H. Hitt, age 83 of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Glenn was born in Ballground, Georgia on June 28, 1934. He is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Hitt and Edna Collett Hitt. Glenn was employed by Dobbs International Service in Atlanta, Georgia as a mechanic. He loved to go fishing and hunting, was a member of West Sunny Side Community Church.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine Hitt; step-children, Sammy Lowry; Billy Lowry and wife, Sherry; sister, Willie Mae Sparks; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mr. Glenn H. Hitt will be on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Hugh Smith and Reverend Gene Luke will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
