Mr. J. B. Meredith age 81 of Griffin passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Meredith was born in Jackson, Georgia on October 12, 1936. He is preceded in death by his parents. Levi and Mable Meredith, brother, Steve Meredith and grandson Jeremy Lovick. J.B. worked as a land surveyor for Kenneth Presley and Associates, Kliklok Corporation, and Spalding County. He loved to fish and hunt.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandra; sons and daughters-in-law, Benji and Jeri Meredith, Banyon and Christina Meredith; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Daniel Robinson, Robin and Keith Broach, Bridget and Keith Ford; grandchildren, Jordan Meredith, Jonah Meredith, Raegan Meredith, Reese Meredith, Courtney Jones, Brandon Broach, Tiffany Stevens, Kassidy Ford, Jude Ford; great grandchildren, Gunner, Adley, Olivia, Sara; brother and sisters, Dick Meredith, Janie Thompson, Bernice McClendon, June and Jesse Malone and daughter Leslie.

A visitation for J.B. Meredith will be on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
