Jimmy Franklin Williamson, age 72 of Griffin, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018.

Mr. Williamson was born on December 16, 1945 in Griffin, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland Williamson and Betty Williamson Cain; son, Christopher Cleveland Williamson; brother, Johnny (J) Williamson; brothers in law, Ronnie Tiller, Freddie Chappell.
He was formerly employed by Ford Motor Company and with his father at Williamson & Son Garage then after the death of his father, continued to run the family business until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Brenda T. Williamson; children, Melissa Jinks, Paige & Marty Wynn; Nicole and Rob Slagle; grandchildren, Cleveland Williamson, Jenna Anne Saunders, Payton Dye, Hannah Slagle, Pacie Dye, Kylie Slagle, Carson Wynn, Carlie Wynn; sisters in law, Anne Chappell, Barbara and Bobby Peurifoy, Linda and Jimmy Lynch; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Jimmy Williamson will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be conducted in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury.
