Mary Ethel Gunter age 74, of Griffin passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Westbury Medical Care and Rehab in Jackson, Georgia.

Mary was born on June 16, 1943. She is preceded in death by her parents, R.M. and Mattie Jewel Gunter; brothers, Larry Gunter and Sonny Gunter; sister, Margaret Kelly.

She is survived by; her sister, Joyce Cochran; sister in law, Martha Gunter; caregivers/nieces, Angie Washington, Crystal Cochran.

A visitation for Mary Ethel Gunter will be on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
