Matthew Todd Corley, age 37, of Griffin passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017.

Matthew was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 22, 1980. Matthew is preceded in death by mother, Cody Pias Corley. He was a graduate of Pike County High School and after graduation he joined and served with the United States Army.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Clifford and Wanda Corley of Sunnyside; brothers, Keith Corley and his wife Shelly of Williamson, Stephen Corley and his wife Kristin of Griffin; step sister, Jennifer Nichols of Sunnyside; four nieces and two nephews: grandparents, Sonny Pias of Pike County, Ray and Bonnie Corley of Sunnyside; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation for Matthew T. Corley will be on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday June 29 at 1:00 pm in the chapel. Reverend Al Shackelford and Reverend Wade Corley will officiate. Interment will follow in Pias Family Cemetery in Pike County.
