Mildred Louise Starr Smith, age 94, of Hampton, Georgia passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017.

She was born in Spalding County, on September 13, 1922. Ms. Smith was the daughter of the late Edna Jones Starr and Wilson M. Starr. She lived the last 45 years of her life in Hampton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Carl Randall Smith; son, Ferrell Smith; grandson, Kevin Smith; brothers, Billy, Harold, Glen and Wayne Starr; sisters, Opal Mobley, Beula Dunn, Ruby Coleman, Martha Eason.

She is survived by daughter, Peggy Jones and husband James; sister, Janie Wilkerson; grandchildren, Kate Akins, Danny Petty and Melissa Browning; 5 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews and a special cousin Loudean Pope.

Visitation will be Tuesday April 25, 2017 at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home from 6 pm until 8 pm.  Funeral service will be conducted in our chapel Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 11:00 am Pastor Johnny Steadham will officiate. Interment will follow at the Berea Cemetery in Hampton, Georgia.
