Mr. Bobby A. Maddox of Hampton, GA, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the age of 77 following a recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. 
Mr. Maddox was born on February 7, 1940 in Clayton County, GA and lived in the area his entire life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom Maddox and Cora Lang Maddox; brothers, Grady Maddox and J.T. Maddox; sisters, Lucy Higdon and Blanche Maddox. He retired from Low Temp Industries as a sheet metal worker in Jonesboro, GA after 48 years of employment.  He attended County Line Congregational Christian Church. He enjoyed working in the yard and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Ellison Maddox, his daughter Michelle Belcher (Brian) and his grandchildren Josh and Savannah Belcher; siblings, Essie Singleton, Mary Johnson, Bernice Revis, Howard Maddox, David Maddox, Sandra Wood and Virginia Dukes; several nieces and nephews.  

A visitation for Mr. Bobby A. Maddox will be on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, October 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville.
