Mrs. Mary E. Rupp, age 82, of Thomaston, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mrs. Rupp was born in Englewood, Ohio on July 30, 1935. She is preceded in death her parents, Clarence Paulus and Portia Mote Paulus, her sister, Beulah Paulus; brother’s, Norval Paulus and wife Naverda, Laurel Paulus and wife Elaine; brother in law, Willard Swalm.
Mrs. Rupp was a Missionary in Nigeria, Africa for 13 years, was a caregiver for in house nursing and was a talented floral designer.

She is survived by her husband, John Rupp; sister’s, Eunice Swalm, Lois Wiggins and husband Harold; brother’s John Paulus and wife Myra Jean, Marvin Paulus and wife Betty; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mary E. Rupp will be on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted at the Hope of the Generations Church, 4178 Crest Hwy, Thomaston, GA 30286, on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 7:00 pm. Dr. Henry Wright will officiate.
