I had the privilege and pleasure to be the hospice volunteer for Ms Ann. We talked for many hours about her life, husband and trips she had taken. Her memory recalled intricate details from days gone by. Her smile was engaging and her family was who made her smile. Whenever I greeted her , I would say "There you are" and she always responded "Here I am". We followed that with an "I love you". That was the last thing she said to me. I will miss this wonderful friend but know heaven was happy to have her come " home".
